In short

GRIT has no account, no ads, no tracking and no analytics. Everything you do in the app stays on your iPhone. We collect no data about you.

What stays on your iPhone

Your answers when you set up the app (what holds you back, what you are building, your stage, your topics), the Punches and stories you save or like, what you have already read, and your notification, widget and language settings. They are stored only on your device, in the app's own storage. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.

Widgets and notifications

The widgets read their Punches from a storage area shared between the app and its widgets, on the same iPhone. Notifications are scheduled by the app on your iPhone: there is no server and no push token.

Sharing and links

When you share a Punch or a story, the iOS share sheet sends it only where you choose. The sources of the stories and the photo credits open external websites (press, Wikipedia…), which have their own privacy policies.

No ads, no tracking, no analytics

The app contains no advertising or analytics tool, reads no advertising identifier and does not measure what you do in it. If you allowed it in your iPhone settings, Apple may share anonymous, aggregated App Store statistics with developers; they do not identify you.

Your data, your control

You can export your data at any time (Profile › Settings › Download my data) or erase it (Profile › Settings › Reset my data). Deleting the app deletes everything. Since we hold no data about you, there is nothing else to request from us, but you can write to maxime.cleev@gmail.com with any question.
